Week One

I am a 45 year old man living in Los Angeles with my wife, my 9 year-old son and my mother-in-law. I've struggled with my weight my entire life and, after many semi-successful tries at permanent loss I am determined to become fit and healthy this time for the rest of my life. This is the beginning of my weight-loss journey.

This is what I've done:

I started the week at 303.5 pounds.
I tracked all my food and exercise on the "Lose-It" app on my IPhone.

I got up at 5 am and exercised for at least 30 minutes everyday except Thursday. Thursday I got up early but I had to do some work so I designated Thursday as my day of rest this week.
